So you have landed on a very special blog that will take you into the world of living in France, being an illustrator, writer, goose owner, and renovator of properties. Its a little hectic at times but I love the challenges involved and hope you will share my journey and be inspired to take up similar passions too. I blog about my day to day art which I also share on Instagram and Facebook, Artrepreneur and sell on Etsy and my own online shop. I also design home decor products and fabrics.
I came to France back in 2019 wishing to follow my dream of illustrating and writing children’s books and somehow ended up owning almost fifty geese, ducks, chickens and a very loud guinea called Bovril. They inspire most of my art and stories and many feature as characters. I work from my garden studio Thistle Cottage.

I support three charities with the proceeds from my work: Funky Chicken Rescue in USA, Big Red Rooster and Cockerel Rescue in UK and Contented Pig Inn in Australia. I contribute regularly to Poultry forums re welfare and medical care and support the social media of many hen rescue forums.
