Artificial Intelligence

As you might know I am writing a book about a swashbuckling, motly crew of pirates on the Rockkng Horse galleon. Its a tale of high seas adventures, bad cooking by a French Lobster znd a Devin Crab and a small crew who get into lots of trouble.

There are obviously the badges, immoral rogues without the slightest hint of compassion, but somehow I love them.

My aim is to illustrate my book, but for fun I decided to play with Dalle-3 IA to try and bring my characters to life. With a lot of descriptive input involving character traits, clothing styles, objects, the weather, I managed to create likenesses tgat are as good as perfect to how I imagined. Some took 5 attempts, some 20, but it’s a learning curve and I do not have access to the really powerful software. There us definitely a skill in inputting the directives for AI to absorb and it obviously us Limited to what it can trace out there on the net. But like all new innovations, I do feel it has place in creativity and will be here to stay regardless of who loves it or hates it.

So here is a round-up of some of my characters. Love to hear your opinions on AI. It’s very controversial, and creativity will get caught up in invations in industry, health etc and be hard to regulate. There will be jobs lost, jobs created. But it was fun to do and has certainly brought my characters to life.
