I am really enjoying these paintings. They are really helping me progress at acrylics and they are selling well too. I try to vary my backgrounds, and trying to work with stronger colours. Next on the easel is a swan and a pekin duck.
Finally after 3 weeks of staring at the white canvas, I braved a start, laying down a yellow ochre wash to get the tonal values right. This one is the third larger scale piece I am tackling.
